TITLE: IT Support
COMPANY: Aboriginal Peoples Alliance (Northern Ontario)
HOURS: 35 hours a week
Contract Position until March 31, 2026
LOCATION: Cochrane, Ontario
Position Summary:
We are seeking an IT Support to provide technical assistance to our employees. The ideal candidate will be a motivated problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot computer issues in-person and remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to employees with hardware and software issues
• Troubleshoot problems with computer systems and networks
• Manage databases and provide data support
• Conduct training sessions on technology-related topics
• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email or in-person
• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware and software
• Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to resolve technical issues

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
• Knowledge of computer systems, networks and databases
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience providing technical support in-person and remotely
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
